Maryam Al Tamimi is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in airport operations, passenger services, and baggage management. As the Vice President of Passenger Services at Emirates Airport Services (EKAS), she oversees the Passenger Services team, placing a strong emphasis on nurturing high-performance cultures and driving operational excellence.

In this senior role, she works strategically to elevate the passenger experience, continuously refining service standards to meet evolving traveler expectations. Her collaborative approach involves close coordination with internal teams, external stakeholders, and key partners such as Dubai Airports to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and uphold the highest safety and security standards.

Central to Maryam’s leadership philosophy is the development and empowerment of high-performing teams. She employs robust performance management frameworks that motivate employees to achieve business objectives while consistently delivering exceptional service. Recognizing the value of both reward and accountability, she has implemented systems that celebrate top performers and address areas needing improvement.

Over the course of her career, Maryam has spearheaded numerous projects introducing innovative systems, procedures, and technologies to enhance airport services. By prioritizing continuous improvement and best practices, she has contributed to the seamless movement of passengers—a cornerstone of EKAS and Dubai Airports’ vision to position Terminal 3 as a global leader in customer service and operational efficiency.

Before assuming the Vice President role, she held key management positions, including Manager of Airport Services Support and Passenger Services Duty Manager. In these capacities, she played an integral role in developing service strategies, operational procedures, and quality assurance processes, ensuring consistent service delivery aligned with exacting standards of safety and quality.

Maryam remains steadfast in her commitment to delivering efficient and effective airport operations.
