Reha Çetin completed his bachelor's and master's degrees in computer engineering at Ege University and earned his PhD in the same field at Trakya University. He began his career in 1986 as a research assistant and project manager at Ege University, where he contributed to major projects, including Türkiye's first HPC installation, EARN's (European Academic Research Network) network connection project, and an Air Force Factory Management's (FMIS) project.
He held various roles in the IT sector, including Project Manager at Bilpa - Yapı Kredi Bankası, System Manager at Körfezbank, IT System Manager at Bankespres, and IT Coordinator at Kentbank. From 2003 to 2012, he served as the IT Director (CIO) at Global Menkul Değerler ve Yatırım Holding. Between 2012 and 2021, he was General Manager of Aktek and CIO of AKKÖK Holding. In 2022, he became a coordinator at SemperTech.
His expertise spans financial systems, ERP, real estate management systems, production systems, technology solutions for information systems, information safety, e-business, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and mobile and web applications. In January 2023, he was appointed CIO of iGA Istanbul Airport.
