Dr. Woon-Kyung Song is the Dean of International Affairs and an Associate Professor of Finance at Korea Aerospace University (KAU).
She serves as a board member of the Aviation Management Society of Korea and has published extensively in her field. Dr. Song is currently an Ethics Auditor for the Korea Institute of Aviation Safety Technology and previously contributed to the Aviation Policy Committee of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport (MOLIT) of Korea.
As KAU's representative for ALICANTO (the International Alliance of Aviation and Aerospace Education), Dr. Song is dedicated to fostering international collaboration in aviation education. She is also deeply involved in the Global Aviation Professional program, an initiative in partnership with ICAO, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and Incheon International Airport Corporation, aimed at advancing global aviation professionals’ development. She is the program director of the ROK-KAU Global Aviation Fellowship Master’s Program, which focuses on cultivating future leaders in aviation from developing countries.
Dr. Song received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Seoul National University, as well as a Master of Science in Finance and a Ph.D. in Finance and Investments from the George Washington University.
